Historic Bus Tour

Join us the third Tuesday of each month and come learn about the history of Flagler County and early Florida!

For years Heritage Crossroads has partnered with Flagler County Historical Society to offer a leisurely 100-mile bus tour on the third Tuesday of each month. This educational, informative, and relaxing tour explores the rich history of Flagler County. A local historian from the Flagler County Historical Society will introduce numerous scenic and historical areas from the comfort of an air-conditioned bus. During your travels you will see evidence of Native American tribes, colonial settlement, cemeteries that hold the remains of Flagler County’s founding families and many examples of historic architecture from the 1800/1900s. There will be designated stops along the tour route, allowing you a chance to explore the areas up-close. Enjoy lunch at a local historical restaurant during your tour as well (price not included in admission).

Tours depart from the Holden House at 10 am, returning around 2:30 pm. The Holden House offers parking for the tour. Guests should arrive around 9:30 am for check-in. The tour is very popular and typically fills up fast, so reservations are required. Admission fee is $20 per person. If your are interested in joining one of the tours please check our calendar for dates or call 386-439-5003 for further information.
